San Antonio Senior Portrait Essay
She immerses herself in the quietness and wonders of nature and she finds the rest that soothes her soul. She enjoys slowly walking through the forest, embracing the lush greenery, the sounds or the wind dancing through leaves, the recently rained earth scents, and the rich textures. It is not just a nature walk but an immersive sensorial experience. This nature connection was the backdrop for this Senior Portrait session.
She is Light!
I was so overjoyed when she told me she loves sunlight and slow living and she wanted her photographs to be in nature! Coming from a tropical island in the Caribbean, the ocean, forest, and sunlight are my love language. I connect and decompress in nature. Meeting her and doing this portrait essay was rich for my soul as well as hers.
Your Senior Portraits should reflect who you are.“And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the wind longs to play with your hair”
This is her favorite tree when she goes into the forest. She loves to climb it and get lost in thought, prayers, and songs of worship.
“Every flower is a love of a dancing sun, ready to kindle your heart.”
After a warm sunlight shower, it was time for a much-relaxed book reading and tea time under the tree shade. She loves sunflowers and arranged a beautiful fresh bouquet. She surrounded herself with the things she loves the most. The cozy blanket, her favorite books, her favorite tea set, and her guitar. She then made a wildflower crown to wear.
A Senior session for the slow-living, light seeker, nature lover. Is that you? Your Senior photographs should reflect the you inside.
We also did a fantastic cinematic portrait for her.
