Little Chef, Big Brother
It is a maternity-family session. She wasn’t even sure she wanted to do a maternity session because she did not want a “stand in front of a pretty grassy field while holding her belly” maternity photos. It was important to her these photographs meant something…she wanted her emotions to be captured. A quick phone call and we quickly discovered she wanted to celebrate him being the only child for the last time before baby arrived.
“He loves to cook.”, mom told me. “Why not then do a maternity-family session but focus on him doing just what he loves to do.”, I replied. This is the magnificent story of the joy of celebrating his interests and enjoying cooking together as a family. I called these kind of sessions Day in the Life stories.
LOVE IN EVERY PHOTOGRAPH
Can you see him smiling in almost every photograph? His smiles are genuine. He was having a great time especially when mom and dad joined in the messy fun.
FURBABIES WELCOME
Cooking is better with dogs! It was a furry chaos but big brother was in control. He is “the lord of the treats!” And they somewhat “cooperated”, LOL. But look how beautiful the are!!!
WAS IS A DELICIOUS TREAT?
The pizza? Eh, not really. In all honesty it wasn’t that good. A family treat? Ah, yes, that was a treat! Hugs and kisses, and loves’ kinda treats!
A LOVE SURPRISE!
The heart shape dough formed in his hands I didn’t see it until after when I was editing. That pizza was made with LOVE! We loved it so much it became the cover of their family album. (Check artwork below).
Day in the Life sessions are so comfortable. You just pause the crazy busy button of life to concentrate in doing what you love and love each other. It’s no wonder why my clients love them more and more.
