Paris Inspired Session

So how cool is this? It is your thirteenth birthday and your mom takes you to breakfast, to the spa and hair salon, AND when you think your birthday is over, surprises you with a super cute photo session just for you? Aha, that is exactly what this rocking mom did. She planned her daughter’s surprise session weeks before the big day. There was one thing mom knew for sure; it had to be a Paris inspired session! Paris is the place this now teen dreams about the most, and I don’t blame her. Just went there myself just to research for this session…haha, nah! It was part of a very special anniversary trip combined with an amazing photography seminar in Venice. But Paris…oh, Paris…Je T’aime! And who doesn’t!

Paris is so beautiful and sophisticated, just like Sophia…It is the perfect combination of elegance and refinement, culture, fine arts, entertainment and old world…and VESPAs!!!

Location is extremely important when you are creating a concept shoot. I chose this specific location because it reminds me (a super little bit) of The Seine, the river that crosses the city with their beautiful buildings in the distance and trees…tress everywhere, parks and restaurants and bookstores everywhere…and VESPAs, did I mention Vespas? I knew it was super important to incorporate a vespa in the shoot…so after searching and searching, bingo! I found one in pink that I’m so happy to call mine 🙂

Isn’t this a great idea? The best memories and present you can give your teen is her very own photography session 🙂
