Boho Styled Photo Session
I recently had the opportunity to takes some photographs of this lovely teen and her guitar. Her skin tone, overall style, and her Taylor guitar were perfect for a Boho styled photo session. I love how natural, organic, and effortlessly feminine a girl photographs in this style and Sarah was the perfect girl for it!
Everything about her look was meant to be natural looking. Very simple make up was use, except for emphasizing the attention on her naturally long lashes. She is only thirteen and we wanted to keep her fresh and young.
Being so young I decided on having bright tones combined with earth tones. Turquoise and creamy pink tones went very well with her skin color. Add feathers and a cute pair of boots and you will rock this style!
The location fitted perfectly with the overall look. I set Indian kanthas and exotic pillows of different patterns and colors on the grass, an old trunk, sunflowers and a curious little owl to complete this set. She had no trouble feeling comfortable and at ease playing her guitar and enjoying nature around her. The results? WOW… She is stunning! She will have very artistic “album cover” images of who she was when she was thirteen…
I love how the dress photographs when in motion, and I love how you can tell she feels pretty in it!
