Do you love roller skates? I L♥VE roller skates! Not that I’m good at them but if you think of roller skates and automatically think of fun then you have had guessed that is exactly what sisters Brianna and Haley had in this session. FUN, FUN, FUN!
We had to wait a good couple of months for us to find vintage-retro roller skates on the girls sizes. Checking on-line and trying to win bids at ebay can be a challenge some times, but I really wanted to do this session. I was so excited whenever a pair would come by mail! It was like opening presents on Christ-mas morning! It turn out that now I have a couple of sizes for other girls who would like to have this kind of session.
This sisters totally rocked this vintage-retro roller skates session. From their funky youthful style to how they relate to each other as sisters, they were the perfect duo for the shoot!
I decided to start easy with them so they could get used to the skates so I took them to an open community theater with lots of funky character of its own. Graffiti on the walls, lots of crates for chairs and a white screen for movies gave interesting backgrounds The girls immediately got into the mood and the hang of it!
Once they were comfortable in the skates, they had a change of clothes and we rolled to the street of course!
There is a food truck nearby…well, it’s actually a very clever yellow shipping container that has been converted into a cafe@ Cafe Tresbe This place is very cool and gave the girls a nice place to hang out. For a moment I felt like I was shooting for a Teen Vogue editorial shoot! They look like models!
P.S. Thanks to Mario Ormaza from Tresbe for giving us the ok 🙂
From there we move to the beach area were we took even more pics and end up with fun sunset pictures on the sand.
Brianna and Haley are a girlie-funky-stylish-silly-fun-cute pair of sisters and I hope they never change!
You like it? What do you think? Leave some love on you commentaries 🙂
