Paddington Bear Baby

If you have been follow me for a while you know I’m a classic children book fanatic! I loved to read storybooks to my kids when they were young. We would read on the couch, on their beds, in my room, outside in the yard, but specially in forts made of blankets and quilts that would stayed up for days and days. There were books everywhere, well there still are books everywhere! Messes in the house? Mhm, not really…giggles and laughter echoed the rooms, cuddling and bonding were being encouraged, memories and dreams were treasured! If that is call messy house, then sure, I had a VERY messy house! And I wouldn’t change anything!

Beatrix Potter’s stories, E.L. Milne, Aesop’s Fables, Christian Anderson’s classics, and sooo many more…including Paddington Bear! Because I know I love this classic storybooks most of the time I work in the concept and the selection of just the right props to create the story for my clients. Sometimes I work in a conceptual story for years until the right client comes and falls in love with it and there, you have a Paddington Bear Baby story! When Sebastian’s mommy visualized the cuteness of her baby boy dressed as Paddington Bear she was eager to do the session. The resemblance between baby boy and teddy bear is uncanny! I WAS photographing Paddington Bear Baby Sebastian! Haha! I loved this session!

In the storybook, Paddington arrives to a family that chooses to keep him and “Look after this bear, thank you!” and so did Sebastian’s parents, in spite of the very messy marmalade baby bear, who enjoyed the tasty treat oh so very much! After this session Baby Sebastian became the lovely main character of his very own storybook!

Not quite Paddington Station in London, but a station non the less…

Partnering with our very creative album company I was able to customize and create a very special and unique book just for this session where Baby Sebastian is the main character and mommy and daddy can read his story to him again a again for years to come!
