Two Little Mermaids

I LOVE a child’s magical world of PLAY PRETEND!
I create sets that allow children to visit this magical place through imagination. That’s what I thrive to do and to capture. I have photographed this little girl since she was 3 years old every year for her birthday. This year’s theme was “The Little Mermaid” and I just happened to have done a mermaid theme for my baby girl years before and kept her sequin mermaid tail I made for her, not only for sentimental reasons (and if you know something about sequin material it’s NOT cheap) but because I knew I would want to do a Little Dreamer mermaid themed session. The color was exactly what this little girl wanted, and I couldn’t be happier. I just had to make the pink tail for her little sister and the beautiful mermaid crowns.
From beautiful little girls to magical little mermaids, these two little girls dreamt of being little mermaids and we make their dream come true. Watch their amazing mermaid I capture their wonderful session as it developed in this photographic essay. 
She played with the “Ocean”…
