What is your happy place? Yes, what, not where. I know we could share one or more happy places. Let me take you to mine…Close your eyes and think of the warm, crystal clear, turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The swish-swash sounds of the waves on the shore, and the crisp feel of the sand on your toes… you have reached my happy place. I grew up an islander so I’m a mermaid at heart. But if you ask me about what is my happy place I will tell you something completely different.
One of the many things I love about documenting families’ stories is learning about, well, their stories…By learning what is meaningful and important to you will help me create the BEST story of you and your loved ones. That is your happy place! Those little everyday moments of your present-day that might be taken for granted will become the very trigger that years from now will transport you to that happy place.

The first thing you notice when you enter the room is that artsy Love Wall. They have carefully selected the messages they want to live by. I was extra happy when dad confessed he finished the wall for me to take their photographs! I love my clients!
Home decor not only gives me a backdrop for their story to take place, it also gives me their mindset, their personal style, and journey. The newest bundle of joy is the happiest of places to be.
Sometimes you can’t do a newborn session for right after birth as most photographers would require. Life happens. But the joy your baby brings to your family should be highly celebrated. And he is everything you dreamed of and more! and what I love the most about older babies is their sweet personalities flourishing and their loving interaction with their parents!
Their Happy Place includes grandparents.
Luna, The Big Sister
Luna is a rescue. Yet when I asked about her story, the answer was no surprise. She rescued him. She is the sweetest dog you’ll meet.
She is so attentive, caring, and loves the spotlight! She would curiously stand dead center in front of my camera and smile, most likely being protective but for me was the cutest furbaby to photograph.
