Lemons, lemons, and more lemons!
Do you remember your Lemonade Stand? The one you built with wooden crates or a bunch of boxes piled up, and a little checkered tablecloth on top, and the Lemonade so tart and sour! Ha ha! Thank goodness your mom came to help you and you actually sold a couple of glasses of your delicious refreshingly cool lemonade on a hot summer. It was mostly your parents who bought your “delicious” lemonade, but hey, they count!
Lemonade Stands are so much fun. Almost every adult had once wanted to have or play in a Lemonade Stand growing up, or at least have dreamt of having or play in one. It is the first little
“entrepreneur” project most of us had when we were kids.
I believe in bringing back and preserving childhood dreams. I believe in play pretend and exploration. I believe that in our busy lives and busy schedules we can still create great memories for our kids and let ourselves reminiscence in childhood bliss…well, at least I did with my kids, and still do 🙂
This session was sooo much fun for these kid! The pictures explain themselves! You see, it doesn’t have to be just a “cute” set to take pictures in. That is just part of it. When you do this, you’ll have nice “snap shots” of your kids, and to tell you the truth…anyone can do that :/ But if you REALLY want to preserve your kids “little” personalities, then that’s when you allow your kids to do what they do best…explore, experience, pretend, play, and have FUN. And THAT is what we do best 🙂 Want to join the adventure?
The kids had the experience of “making” their own lemonade stand. It is such hard work!
Kamila help with the “painting”!
Isaac “help” with the lemons! Oh such hard work!
Big brother Alan was the expert lemon squeezer and was very eager to teach his little siblings!
This is one of my favorite shots. Giggles are inevitable!
Curiosity and silliness are ALWAYS welcome!
And of course, time for a most earned refreshing cool lemonade!
When can we play again?

OMG! I loved all of them! The kids really enjoyed playing with the lemonade stand, and you captured that joy in every shot. It was a great experience! Thank you so much!
Everything about these photos and lemonade stand are darling!! Would you please share the paint colors? Thanks!
Thank you, Ina! Would you believe me if I tell you I painted like 5 times finding the “right” hue of vintage green? I specifically wanted a Vintage “pyrex” color I saw on a bowl. The yellow is also vintage-inspired.
